We are a bridge-building church

for the city of bridges

Since 1968, Community of Reconciliation Church has worshiped in Pittsburgh's Oakland neighborhood as an intentionally interracial, inclusive, Protestant Christian community.

We believe that our calling is to live out what Jesus taught and showed the world: that everyone is worthy in God's eyes, and that it's possible to flourish when we live, work and pray with people who are different from us.  God's grace frees us to be bridge-builders in the wider church and our communities, and to work for peace and justice.

Everyone is welcome to worship with us on Sunday mornings at 11am.  If you join us, you'll find people of different races, genders, ages, sexual orientations, and abilities.  What we have in common -- our desire to grow in faith and share the gifts God has given each of us -- is bigger than any of those differences.

We hope you'll join us!  We're at the corner of Fifth and Bellefield in Oakland, and we look forward to meeting you.
